Bad week to be a ROACH

*sigh*

Honestly, I started to believe that Krampus was done giving any advertisement to a certain group now that my sister's profile was removed from their members' list. I no longer had reason unless provoked to give this organization further attention, much less grief. Krampus was even prepared to let slide the fact that The Potentate, scourged by my final comment on his blog, has changed the format so that all new messages must be approved before publishing, just like mine. Well, at least he attempts to steal from the best, but I digress.

Last night, I was made aware of a grievous wrong perpetrated upon Zetaman and his property. He asked my opinion on the subject, whether or not to blog about it. Out of respect, Krampus intended to wait, allowing Zetaman to be the one to break the news. However, Mr. Jack has commented upon this event on Poop Knife's blog, and Malvado has posted about his own dealings with Zetaman as well. Since the genie has been unleashed, I may as well chime in on this.

Last night, Krampus arrived home to his cavernous home under the large scary tree to see that a message was left by Zetaman. The man's home and property was vandalized, a note left on his windshield with the words 'Regards from ROACH' and his vehicle's tires slashed. The police are investigating this incident as we speak.

From the inception of this blog, ROACH has been a banner under which a great deal of confusion, ego and genuine harm implied under the veil of parody has been produced. It has been the duty of Krampus to patrol potential threats that transcend the blogosphere and role play into actual or potential harm. As the investigation is ongoing, one can be sure that the identities of the perpetrators shall be uncovered and punishment dealt out under the law. When Zetaman asked my opinion for whether or not to post this news, mine was objective, but an honest opinion. It is conceivably possible that the culprits have nothing to do with ROACH, is an adversary of Zetaman's and has left a red herring to throw off suspicion for their own actions. When asked if I believe that this attack should be publicized, I said yes. If in fact ROACH had nothing to do with this, then they deserve the chance to defend themselves from the potential onslaught. If however a member of ROACH has decided to act like an actual villain, then ROACH needs to explain themselves and take responsibility for the actions of their banner. Either way, it is the opinion of Krampus that such a story must be told. Those of us in the RLSH and RLSV communities need to be aware of these actions, and to choose the stands to take for or against the people that have committed this act of destruction of property and vandalism.

It is the opinion of Krampus that since there has been so much negativity and capability of genuine harm to one's reputations, property and health by coming in contact with ROACH, people may wish to disassociate and disconnect any and all ties with members that are members, or fraternize as friends with such reprobates. I believe that ROACH and all members involved deserve to make their voices heard, their side of the story told. Perhaps this is the act of someone attempting to frame ROACH. But this latest attack crosses a line that goes beyond satire, beyond parody, beyond blogging and role play. Any and all members of ROACH will no doubt be investigated, as well as other potential allies with whom Krampus has verbally jousted. Hell, I'd even suspect Krampus may be investigated for this attack, with lies and innuendos spouted that Krampus has gone 'round the bend and has attacked Zetaman in order to see ROACH crushed once and for all. If such an investigation would come, so be it. Krampus has done nothing nor conspired with anyone to do such a thing, the evidence would attest to that.

Stalking. Cyber-stalking. Defamation of character. Manipulation of its members. Threats against its members. Veiled threats under the blanket of absurdity. Has the name ROACH also become the point of origin of a planned attack on a member of the community's property? Has someone been inspired to perform such an act with hopes of joining their ranks? Or are they merely patsies in this instance, being framed for a crime they did not commit but few would deny that is a petty, villainous act?

Whoever did such an attack is surely a coward, leaving marks and probably not so clever as to ensure wearing gloves while handling the ROACH note, currently being looked into by the police. As I have stated, it was originally the intention of Krampus to remain silent until Zetaman himself had told the tale out of respect. But since the news has been told, it is the turn of Krampus to speak his perspective on this matter. If you value your reputations, now may be the best time to disassociate yourselves from all ROACH members and allies. If not, prepare to have the spotlight turned on above you. Will you stand like a man, or scatter under its scrutiny? Time will tell.

And to think, Krampus was starting to wonder if he was still needed to observe this community as a sentinel...

Sword Kane update 5/29 Possible Eviction

Readers, this is a very dire situation. Please read and help in any way possible.

Possible Eviction...

Everyone, A bit of bad news rung my doorbell this morning. It was my Landlord and despite of me telling him my situation a few weeks back about how my disability claim was denied and I was in the middle of my appeal, and I have no income, he still said to me today that he want's May's rent regardless of what's going on. He wants us out if I can't give it to him soon. I can't get help from other family members, because they are facing financial hardship as well. Even foreclosure on their own home, in one case. I have already checked into Section 8 and they cannot help me. Their resources are drained from our failing economy. You all have helped me so far and I am so thankful for that. However this situation with my landlord is really bad. He isn't going to wait any longer. I ask this of all of you. If you can spare anything. Communicate with each other and please help me! I need $600 for rent. Now I know that sounds like alot, but if everyone could work together, Hero and Villain, each person would not have to put forth a large sum of funds but as a group you can do it, I know you all can! We have absolutely nowhere to go if he makes us leave. Even the Apts based on income have a six month waiting list. Help me please! You all are my last hope! Go to www.paypal.com to help with any amount of funds you can. For those who have problems with paypal see my blog about the MoneyPak. My paypal account name is swordkane@yahoo.com. Sincerely Swordkane

Now more than ever, this is the time for any and all that may aid Sword Kane to come together. Please help and donate whatever you can or the man with an injured back and leg as well as his family may be evicted from his home!

Sword Kane update 5/24

This is the latest from Sword Kane, it is more bad news.

Everyone, Once again, I'd like to thank all those who pray and send their continued help during my struggle. I received a call from my disability insurance that the new claim I applied for the torn ligaments in my foot would not be accepted because I had not returned to work for more than 30 days as I had mentioned in my previous blog. 30 DAYS! BS!!!!! Needless to say, I had sent an appeal over my first denied claim over my neck bones and they said that I would have to include medical documents about my foot along with the first appeal because my foot could not be accepted as a separate claim. Here's the part that pissed me off. If they deny my claim over my neck for a second time, my foot will NOT be considered AT ALL for a disability claim! Once again, they said it was because where I never had gone back to work for more than 30 days and where they had denied my first claim. My ligaments are not healing back together. It's been almost a month and I can still feel my foot separating from leg through my cast. I can't even walk just to hear that my insurance may not even help me out anymore. So, long story short. The only thing I have left to hold onto now is hoping and praying that they approved my appeal over my neck because if they don't...I'm screwed. For those who are wondering, I don't depend or ask for help from family because they are struggling as well. I only have you guys now. They said that they have from 30 to 60 days to make their decision on my appeal. I am so scared right now. If anyone can spare any amount, please, please go to www.paypal.com and send what you can. My email for paypal is swordkane@yahoo.com Some folks had mentioned to me that they do not have a paypal account. I heard that you can send money through Western Union or Moneygram to paypal too. Keep hoping for the best, Sincerely Swordkane

If any of you can spare any funds or feel that the spirits are connected to your prayers and can help, send all well wishes and aid you can to this man.

Free at last!

After months of petitioning, requests, demands, squabbles and other rhetoric with excuses of enjoying my sister's profile, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce that Executrix along with other members of ROACH have had their profiles vacated from their ranks. Perhaps it had something to do with a recent web page submission featuring our least favorite invertebrates, who knows. But I feel a spring in my step, and a song in my heart! Please feel free to sing along!

I've paid my dues
Time after time
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I've come through

We are the champions my friends
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions
of the world

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it
I thank you all

But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race
And I never lose

We are the champions my friends
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions
of the world

We are the champions my friends
And we'll keep on fighting till the end
Ahh, we are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions...

Sword Kane update 5/14

It appears that Sword Kane's fortune is taking a turn for the worse. In his blog last week:

I went to my regular Dr. to get a referral to a orthopedic specialist and SHE REFUSED! My foot was pretty much hanging off my leg and I asked her what about my huge black bruises?? Is this NORMAL? Then she said the bones weren't broken and put ice on it and it will be fine.... WHAT THE HELL????!!!! So I went with my better judgement and went to an ER at another hospital. They gave me a referral with no problem. I finally got to see the specialist today and GUESS WHAT??? The main ligaments around my ankle were completely BLOWN OUT! He didn't even have to do a c-scan. He just grabbed my foot and was able to move it seperately from the rest of my leg! Dr.'s usually don't get nauseated, but even he looked squimish after my foot and leg went two different directions! So now I have to wear a cast for a month, then a big black boot for a month. He also said that there is a good chance that the ligaments may not heal on their own and reconstructive surgery may be the only option. Needless to say I called my general Dr.'s office & informed them on what I found out and said I wasn't coming there ever again. Which leads me to this question... How can Dr.'s be so irresponsible to their patients? Ok, well that's all for now... That was more like a long update rather than a quick one...

And now this week:
Denied Again...

Everyone,

A very hearty thanks and appreciation to those who have helped me and my family thus far. It has helped us greatly.

I thought things were going looking up for me, financial wise, when I filed another claim through my insurance over my torn ligaments in my foot.

I received a call yesterday from them stating that I was denied for that too.

I can't believe this shit.

They said since I was denied over my first claim and that I never went back to work for 30 days minimum, that my new claim is denied as well.

Now, I am going to have to make an appeal stating the situation with my leg and wait for God knows how long for them to approve it, IF they even do. I have got to find some way to fight this decision.

I need everyone's help now more than ever! Please, if you can, donate any amount to help me and my family to help us through this time of crisis.

Please go to www.paypal.com and donate. Send funds to swordkane@yahoo.com.

Please pray for us.

Swordkane

The man and his family needs help now more than ever. Every little bit helps, and Krampus wishes he could help more this month but some unexpected financial expenses have crept upon me. At least 29 dead since last show

I fully intended to make the next blog about how NOT to be an RLSH/RLSV in this community, but a very fatal reality has taken place since then. The blogosphere has fixated upon the death threats made upon my show, rightfully so in my opinion. But people still wish to dismiss the loss of life and potential for it when addressed. When did Krampus begin to show more compassion for human life than other humans?

I come to you in blog today to tell about a tragedy that was indeed discussed upon my last show. Mixsae was at ground zero this weekend during the freak storms, tornadoes and flooding that has taken place in and around the area of Nashville Tennessee. You can read about it at the below link, as well as seeing it reposted here.

Rescuers hope for no more victims in floods
At least 29 people were killed across South by either water or tornadoes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The dark waters of the Cumberland River slowly started to ebb Tuesday as residents who frantically fled the deadly flash floods returned home to find mud-caked floors and soggy furniture. Rescuers prayed they would not find more bodies as the floodwaters receded.

The river and its tributaries had flooded parts of middle Tennessee after a record-breaking weekend storm dumped more than a foot of rain in two days, rapidly spilling water into homes, roads and some of Music City's best-known attractions.

At least 29 people were killed in Tennessee, Mississippi and Kentucky by either floodwaters or tornadoes. Water submerged parts the Grand Ole Opry House, considered by many to be the heart of country music, and the nearby Opryland Hotel could be closed for up to six months.

The flash flooding caught many here by surprise, and efforts to warn residents to not drive on flooded streets were hampered by power outages. As the water began to recede, bodies were recovered late Monday from homes, a yard and a wooded area outside a Nashville supermarket.

By Tuesday, the flash floods were blamed in the deaths of 18 people in Tennessee alone, including 10 in Nashville.

The Nashville Scene reported that the city's coordinator for homeless issues said those who had been living in a tent city downtown appear to be accounted for after it was wiped out. Earlier, police told NBC News that they feared they might end up finding bodies there.

Hundreds rescued
Hundreds of people had been rescued by boat and canoe from their flooded homes over the past few days. Those rescue operations were winding down in Nashville on Tuesday, though emergency management officials were checking a report of a house floating in a northern neighborhood, trying to determine if anyone was in it.

It remained unclear how many — if any — people were missing in Tennessee. Authorities in southcentral Kentucky searched Tuesday for a kayaker who was last seen Monday afternoon in the swollen Green River.

"Those in houses that have been flooded and some of those more remote areas, do we suspect we will find more people? Probably so," Nashville Fire Chief Kim Lawson said. "We certainly hope that it's not a large number."

The Cumberland River also deluged some of Nashville's most important revenue sources: the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, whose 1,500 guests were whisked to a shelter, the adjacent Opry Mills Mall, and the Grand Ole Opry House.

Parts of the hotel remained flooded on Tuesday, and officials estimated it could stay closed for three to six months with more than $75 million in damage.

At the Grand Ole Opry, which is moving its shows to alternate concert halls, water reached the stage and the first floor of the Minnie Pearl building was flooded over the doors, said customer service representative Rita Helms. The Acuff Theater had four floors flooded, and the Gaslight Theater also was under water, she said.

Floodwaters also edged into the Country Music Hall of Fame and LP Field where the Tennessee Titans play, though the Ryman Auditorium — the longtime former home of the Grand Ole Opry — appeared to be OK. It was not immediately known how much damage the Hall of Fame or LP Field received, though the Titans' logo, which had been submerged by floodwaters on Monday, was once again visible on the stadium's field Tuesday.

Residents scour debris
Businesses along Nashville's riverfront lost electricity early Tuesday, and restaurants and bars clustered on a downtown street popular with tourists were closed. Laurie Parker, a spokeswoman for Nashville Electric Service, said a main circuit failed before dawn, knocking out power to downtown businesses in a 24-square-block area, including the 33-story AT&T Building, a Hilton hotel, the arena where the Nashville Predators NHL team plays and honky-tonks in the country music tourism district.

Parker said the power in that district would be out the rest of the week.

"It will be Friday at the earliest," she said, "depending on how fast the water level falls."

In one neighborhood west of downtown, residents scoured through debris, trying to determine how much they've lost.

Luke Oakman finally got a look at the room he and his wife designed for their 11-month-old daughter after the family fled their home on Sunday.

It was ruined. Baby toys and books sat on a mud-coated floor and a wooden bed leaned back against a wall. A rocking chair was propped up by the child's dresser that had been knocked over.

"I broke down when I saw that," the 32-year-old lab worker said.

Damage estimates range into the tens of millions of dollars. Gov. Phil Bredesen declared 52 of Tennessee's 95 counties disaster areas after finishing an aerial tour from Nashville to western Tennessee during which he saw flooding so extensive that treetops looked like islands. The flooding also prompted election officials to delay Nashville's local primary, which had been set for Tuesday.

Storms catch everyone off guard
The Cumberland topped out around 6 p.m. Monday at 51.9 feet, about 12 feet above flood stage — the highest it's reached since 1937. It began to recede just in time to spare the city's only remaining water treatment plant.

The severity of the storms had caught everyone off guard. More than 13.5 inches of rainfall were recorded Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, making for a new two-day record that doubled the previous mark.

The water swelled most of the area's lakes, minor rivers, creeks, streams and drainage systems far beyond capacity. It flowed with such force that bridges were washed out and thousands of homes were damaged. Much of that water then drained into the Cumberland, which snakes through Nashville.

The weekend storms also killed six people in Mississippi and four in Kentucky, including one man whose truck ran off the road and into a flooded creek. One person was killed by a tornado in western Tennessee. About 30 National Guard troops assisted local authorities in south central Kentucky on Tuesday, where flooding washed out roads and bridges and shuttered post offices, schools and government buildings.

"It's serious out there still," said Mark Marraccini, spokesman for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. "These waters are very dangerous."

Twenty-nine people have lost their lives, many more injured, hundreds, even thousands of homes lost, historic landmarks flooded. And what does the blogosphere have to say? The Aluminum Chef, another member of ROACH wishing to imprint themselves upon the collective thoughts of readers, decides an attempt to kick a person when she's down. Streets flooded, property damaged, destruction all around. And what does this uninspired person decide to say?

It's not villainous, it's a pathetic example of trying to be heard by being an asshole. FAIL. Although, I declare that Krampus will be judging those engaged in such actions and their ilk far more harshly in the future. The grace period is over, mercies given will be repealed. But now is not the time for that.

Now is the time for those that are civic minded to contact your branch of the Red Cross. If you truly care and wish to reach out and do something, then you can start here: http://www.redcross.org/

Or if you wish to do something closer to home, check on Sword Kane's latest update about his new blue cast, and hopes that surgery will not be required.
