7 people shot dead in Texas home, motive unclear

GRAPEVINE, Texas (AP) — Investigators believe that seven people who were found dead Christmas Day were cleaning up holiday wrapping paper when they were shot inside a suburban Fort Worth apartment, but a motive remains unclear.
All of the victims appeared to be related, and Grapevine police said they believe the shooter was among the dead. Investigators were meticulously searching the apartment, along with three vehicles parked outside, and didn't expect to finish until dawn on Monday.
"It appears they had just celebrated Christmas. They had opened their gifts," Grapevine Police Sgt. Robert Eberling said, adding that the apartment was decorated for the holiday, including a tree.
The four women and three men, aged 18 to 60, were found dead in an adjoining kitchen and living room area when police arrived midday Sunday, shortly after receiving a 911 call in which no one was on the other line, Eberling said. Two handguns were found near the bodies, he said.
None of the victims has been identified, but Eberling said it appears they all died of gunshot wounds. He said authorities still don't know what sparked the incident.
Grapevine Police Lt. Todd Dearing said investigators believe that the victims were related, though some were visiting and didn't live in the apartment. He said police are looking for other relatives to inform of the deaths.
"Seven people in one setting in Grapevine, that's never happened before. Ever," Dearing said.
Police and firefighters first rushed to the Lincoln Vineyards complex after receiving the open-ended 911 call at about 11:30 a.m., Eberling said.
"There was an open line. No one was saying anything," he explained.
So police went into the apartment, located in the middle-class neighborhood of Grapevine, not far from the upscale Fort Worth suburb of Colleyville. The apartment was at the back of the complex, overlooking the athletic fields of Colleyville Heritage High School.
But many of the nearby apartments are vacant, and police said no neighbors reported hearing anything on a quiet Christmas morning when many people were not around.
Jose Fernandez, a 35-year-old heavy equipment mechanic who moved to the complex with his family about six months ago, said he always felt safe in the area, but is now afraid to let his 10-year-old son play freely outside.
"This is really outrageous especially on Christmas," said Fernandez, who was visiting family for the holiday and returned to find several police cars parked outside his home.
"This has shocked everybody. It has scared everybody. I guess something like this can happen anywhere, but seven people dead. It's just very scary," he added.
Eberling agreed the area is fairly quiet, noting this would be the first homicide in Grapevine since 2010.
Christy Posch, a flight attendant who moved to the complex about six months ago so her son could attend the high school, said she lives a few buildings away and did not hear any gunshots.
"It's all families. That's why I moved here. No burglaries, no nothing," Posch said.

A new calling for Krampus?
For those of you wondering where I've been, things have been rather interesting. Especially given talks for...well...you're not going to believe this!

While there are many good reasons for members of the Occupy movement to related to the rehabilitated image of Guy Fawkes/”V”, I am personally convinced that the image of Krampus could potentially be a much more effective iconic symbol of the Occupy movement, especially in the coming weeks leading up to Christmas which is arguably one of the biggest and most lucrative times of year for large banking institutions and corporations that have been shown to have connections to less-than-equitable business practices. Krampus represents responsibility and accountability for one’s actions while more than willing to punish those who engage in harmful practices – business and otherwise.
The author lists out five reasons that Krampus would be better than Fawkes:
-Encourages radical community involvement.
-Actually aims to punish wrong-doings.
-Horns are much scarier than a mask and pantaloons.
-Makes reasonable demands.
-Hasn’t been usurped by Time Warner and was never a Papist tool.

Kim Jong Il, Dead At 69
Kim Jong Il, supreme leader of North Korea, died Saturday of an apparent heart attack during a train ride, state television reported Monday. He was 69, according to official sources. Kim, known in his homeland as “The Lodestar of the 21st Century” and by more than 2,000 other titles, is reported to have had a history of serious ailments, including diabetes, stroke and pancreatic cancer. He may have been on dialysis at the time of his death. In North Korea, he was considered a “contemporary god.”
Kim formally assumed power over the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, as North Korea is formally known, in October 1997 by becoming General Secretary of the Korean Workers’ Party. His elevation to supreme leader, a little over three years after the death of father Kim Il Sung, was the first dynastic transfer of power in a communist-bloc state. The younger Kim also ruled the nation as Chairman of the National Defense Commission, the highest state institution in North Korea. His father, whose embalmed body is on display in Pyongyang, remains the country’s president.
Kim Jong Il successfully consolidated power after his father’s sudden death and, despite predictions to the contrary, kept the regime together. In 1994, he scored a diplomatic triumph by getting the United States to sign an agreement preserving his nuclear program. Kim then steered North Korea through a famine that was its gravest crisis since the American advance to the Chinese border during the Korean War.
The famine resulted in the deaths of as many as two million North Koreans. Since then, agricultural production has recovered, but the country still relies on food assistance from the international community, especially neighboring China. Beijing is thought to provide approximately 45 percent of the North’s foodstuffs—as well as about 90 percent of its oil and 80 percent of its consumer goods.
In July 2002, Kim sponsored structural economic changes, which failed to lift output on a sustained basis. He also permitted the creation of economic zones and tourist enclaves. The country emerged from its most recent downturn in 2008, according to the authoritative Bank of Korea in Seoul. During Kim’s rule, the North remained destitute, scoring last or near the bottom on virtually every human development index. He maintained, and perhaps enlarged, a system of concentration and death camps he inherited from his father.
The Dear Leader, as Kim was known, maintained his position within the regime by strengthening the hand of the Korean People’s Army with his songun, or military first, policy. Approximately 1.2 million North Koreans—out of a total reported population of about 24 million—are in uniform, backed up by at least five million reservists. Although large, the military’s conventional-warfare capabilities have eroded in recent years due to the lack of resources, especially fuel for training.
As a result of the decline in military preparedness, Kim increasingly relied on the country’s unconventional weapons. The Army first detonated a nuclear device in October 2006, and a second test followed in May 2009. The country conducted three long-range missile tests—all during Kim’s tenure—and continued to add to its large stocks of chemical and biological agents. He reportedly sold nuclear weapons and missile technologies in recent years to various customers, especially Iran and Syria. Talks to disarm Kim’s state have floundered, leaving the country in possession of its small nuclear arsenal.
Kim’s death leaves the future of his family’s one-man regime in doubt. In 2009, he designated his youngest known son, Kim Jong Un, his successor. Jong Un, now about 28, may have to contend with his uncle, Jang Song Thaek; his eldest brother, Kim Jong Nam; and perhaps others for real power. Beijing is thought to favor a collective ruling group, which would undercut the position of Kim Jong Un as his father’s successor.
Kim Jong Il, according to official North Korean sources, was born on February 16, 1942 in a log cabin on sacred Mount Paektu, the highest point in Korea and the mythical birthplace of the Korean people. North Korean schools teach that his birth was accompanied by a simultaneous appearance of a bright star, a double rainbow, and a bird announcing the coming of a “general who will rule all the world.”
Most historians, however, place Kim’s birth in a Soviet military camp near Khabarovsk, in Siberia, at least one year earlier. He arrived in North Korea for the first time in November 1945 aboard a Soviet ship. He spent the Korean War outside Korea in Manchuria.
Kim is said to have had three wives, three sons and three daughters, although some reports put the number of his children at about 70, most of whom were kept in villas scattered throughout North Korea.

Fla. woman found slain under Christmas presents
And some of you fucks wonder why I'm around or what hell really goes on during the Christmas season.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — After a 67-year-old Florida woman was found beaten, strangled and hidden beneath the Christmas presents in her home, authorities charged a younger woman who had been befriended by the victim.
Patty Michelle White, 40, of York, S.C., was being held in the York County jail on fugitive charges, and was expected to be extradited Tuesday to Florida to face murder charges, authorities said.
The body of Michele O'Dowd of Jacksonville, Fla., was discovered Friday by her twin brother, Phil Axt, who had gone to check on her at her home in a gated community after O'Dowd failed to show up for work.
The door was open and O'Dowd's house had been ransacked, Axt said. Chairs and tables were turned upside down. Her car and dog were still at home.
"I knew this wasn't going to pretty," he said.
A foot was sticking out of a big pile of Christmas gifts, Axt said. Buried under the gifts was his sister's cold body, her bloody face covered with a towel.
Police said White was an ex-girlfriend of the victim's nephew, and was considered a family friend. They said White had returned to Florida to rob O'Dowd after staying with relatives in South Carolina.
"Whatever took place in that apartment went horribly wrong and she ended up beating and killing her," according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. White then returned to South Carolina, where she confessed to authorities after she was pulled over and arrested Saturday.
Axt said his aunt treated White as part of the family, giving her odd jobs to earn extra money even though "she just couldn't keep a job, couldn't get her life together."
O'Dowd allowed White to stay at her home for a month for free, trusting her with her PIN number to her debit card so White could purchase groceries for the two of them.
White later used that debit card to withdraw $1,000 at two bank ATMs in Florida, authorities said.
Authorities took some clothes from White's family's home in South Carolina to be examined and turned over to Florida police. A car in which White and her mother were traveling when White was arrested was also examined but later released to the family, police said.
Aunt Miki, as O'Dowd was known to friends and family, was "the most sweetest, kindest person who would never hurt a fly," Axt said.
He also said his sister's neighbors heard screams.
"So many people in the community said they heard someone screaming and wailing, and no one called the police," he said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office declined further comment pending the investigation. There was no answer Tuesday at a phone listing for White's family in South Carolina.

The Occupy movements and the Economic Bill of Rights
One thing that has been displayed in comic books that parallels history is people taking sides for, or against certain movements. Basic human rights, freedoms and revolts against injustice have been in many a storyline. While I know that the RLSH wish to help people within the status quo, what of those here that wish for things to change, and are willing to stand up, make your voice heard as part of a group, to create a change in how the world or unfair laws or opinions operate?
I haven't heard a great deal about any RLSH operating at any of the Occupy rallies. This surprises me a bit, as I know there are socially conscious members in the community. I'm not saying you have to go in costume, but I haven't heard much about anyone taking the time out to join the many groups and protests around the United States and world. I find this somewhat disturbing.
Recently my roommate and I were watching Capitalism: A Love Story again, with some interesting information near the end of the film. I reprint some of that information for you now.
On January 11, 1944, in the midst of World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt spoke forcefully and eloquently about the greater meaning and higher purpose of American security in a post-war America. The principles and ideas conveyed by FDR's words matter as much now as they did over sixty years ago, and the Franklin D. Roosevelt American Heritage Center is the source of this selection of FDR's vision for the security and economic liberty of the American people in war and peace.

It is our duty now to begin to lay the plans and determine the strategy for the winning of a lasting peace and the establishment of an American standard of living higher than ever before known. We cannot be content, no matter how high that general standard of living may be, if some fraction of our people—whether it be one-third or one-fifth or one-tenth—is ill-fed, ill-clothed, ill-housed, and insecure.
This Republic had its beginning, and grew to its present strength, under the protection of certain inalienable political rights—among them the right of free speech, free press, free worship, trial by jury, freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures. They were our rights to life and liberty.
As our nation has grown in size and stature, however—as our industrial economy expanded—these political rights proved inadequate to assure us equality in the pursuit of happiness.

The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;

All of these rights spell security. And after this war is won we must be prepared to move forward, in the implementation of these rights, to new goals of human happiness and well-being.
America’s own rightful place in the world depends in large part upon how fully these and similar rights have been carried into practice for our citizens.

Mexico acknowledges 2nd Mayan reference to 2012

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico's archaeology institute downplays theories that the ancient Mayas predicted some sort of apocalypse would occur in 2012, but on Thursday it acknowledged that a second reference to the date exists on a carved fragment found at a southern Mexico ruin site.
Most experts had cited only one surviving reference to the date in Mayan glyphs, a stone tablet from the Tortuguero site in the Gulf coast state of Tabasco.
But the National Institute of Anthropology and History said in a statement that there is in fact another apparent reference to the date at the nearby Comalcalco ruin. The inscription is on the carved or molded face of a brick. Comalcalco is unusual among Mayan temples in that it was constructed of bricks.
Arturo Mendez, a spokesman for the institute, said the fragment of inscription had been discovered years ago and has been subject to thorough study. It is not on display and is being kept in storage at the institute.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico's archaeology institute downplays theories that the ancient Mayas predicted some sort of apocalypse would occur in 2012, but on Thursday it acknowledged that a second reference to the date exists on a carved fragment found at a southern Mexico ruin site.

The inscription is on the carved or molded face of a brick. Comalcalco is unusual among Mayan temples in that it was constructed of bricks.
Arturo Mendez, a spokesman for the institute, said the fragment of inscription had been discovered years ago and has been subject to thorough study. It is not on display and is being kept in storage at the institute.

Russian military chief warns of nuclear war risks
MOSCOW (AP) — Russia is facing a heightened risk of being drawn into conflicts at its borders that have the potential of turning nuclear, the nation's top military officer said Thursday.
Gen. Nikolai Makarov, chief of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces, cautioned over NATO's expansion eastward and warned that the risks of Russia being pulled into local conflicts have "risen sharply."
Makarov added, according to Russian news agencies, that "under certain conditions local and regional conflicts may develop into a full-scale war involving nuclear weapons."
A steady decline in Russia's conventional forces has prompted the Kremlin to rely increasingly on its nuclear deterrent.
The nation's military doctrine says it may use nuclear weapons to counter a nuclear attack on Russia or an ally, or a large-scale conventional attack that threatens Russia's existence.
Russia sees NATO's expansion to include former Soviet republics and ex-members of the Soviet bloc in eastern and central Europe as a key threat to Russia's security.
Makarov specifically referred to NATO's plans to offer membership to Georgia and Ukraine as potentially threatening Russia's security. Russia routed Georgian forces in a brief August 2008 war over a separatist province of South Ossetia. Moscow later recognized South Ossettia and another breakaway Georgian province of Abkhazia as independent states and increased its military presence there.
Makarov warned that the planned pullout of NATO forces from Afghanistan could trigger conflicts in neighboring ex-Soviet Central Asian nations that could "grow into a large-scale war."
In its military doctrine, Russia has also described U.S. missile defense plans as another major security challenge, saying it could threaten its nuclear forces and undermine their deterrence potential.
Moscow has agreed to consider NATO's proposal last fall to cooperate on the missile shield, but the talks have been deadlocked over how the system should operate. Russia has insisted that the system should be run jointly, which NATO has rejected.
Makarov also said Russia is struggling to get enough recruits for the 1-million military, as the number of draftees has shrunk dramatically because of demographical changes.
He said that the military is aiming to gradually increase the number of contract soldiers and eventually form an all-volunteer army. He didn't mention a specific time frame.
The statement marked a sharp change of course for the top military brass who previously insisted that Russia needs to maintain the highly unpopular draft because an all-volunteer military would be too costly.

Hello Officers.
No doubt if you're reading this, it's because tensions have recently been heightened and authorities have become involved in something that should have been looked into last year. Let me see if I can help to clear things up.
I have been going head to head online against a group calling themselves Real Life SuperVillains, or RLSV for short. Some are merely online personas that are about as dangerous as playing a Roman in a Easter play about crucifying Jesus. Others however have been less than harmless. Taking private information like names, locations, even addresses of people that harass them and posting it, only to erase it a few hours later, Attacks online of oneself and on others close to you, it appears to be a game. A game to make the enemies of the RLSV know that they can get to you any time, do whatever they want and get away with it because they hide behind the law and its loopholes. Veiled threats, harassment of people that have mental conditions such as depression, suicidal thoughts and other such maladies. These people claim that they are trying to warn against vigilantism in the Real Life SuperHero community when in fact, these same individuals have been instigating, provoking such actions. Recently the FBI upgraded the fans of the rap group Insane Clown Posse known as Juggalos and Juggalettes are now on their watch list of dangerous gangs. I submit to you when someone in the community admits to acts like violence, gang activity, drug use and trafficking, a disregard for the laws and rotating attacks on people, I believe members of the RLSV and some RLSH should both be examined further.
Everything I've ever said on this blog, on my show Creature Feature and performed in action has been in reaction to actions of attacks and threats against my person or others. Have I lost my temper in the past? Yes, and when it was discovered that such events were due to an interaction of over the counter pain relievers and sleep aids, I stopped taking both items in order to regain self control. But still, constant attacks and harassment do tend to wear one down. I have in the past been targeted by stalkers who have driven by my home late at night, tearing up my front yard, screaming, firing gunshots. And in my blogs, people such as Jacob DuPree, AKA Malvado and his friends/fellow gang members, know about it. I also have reason to believe they have instigated it in others by revealing my identity and address. Because of this, my extreme behavior on this blog has been the equivalent of a cyber 'No Trespassing' sign. Was I upset? Yes. Was I at the time willing to kill? Oh yes. But, I knew that such a thing was wrong and illegal. I was however, prepared to defend myself with lethal force, because these same individuals have made it clear they are prepared to do whatever they want, damn the laws, and get away with it or use legal loopholes to cover themselves. This is more than one individual, it is an organization of many members who all use the same tactics and have a history of escalation. They claim to be a regulatory group of citizens who try to keep people from being harmed by vigilantes, while at the same time trying to attack, goad and whip people into a frenzy to make such attacks.
At the height of this activity a few months ago, attacks were made against myself and my friends. I wanted it to stop, and my patience was nearly at an end. I wanted to snap and repay these people, but instead I let them believe that I was a single comment away from going on the offensive. And at the time, without the help of counseling and the same friends these bastards continue to attack, I could very well have. But I didn't know where they were, in some cases, who they were. I am legally armed, don't worry, I'm not stockpiling like Waco, to defend myself. I have been attacked on my property, and these people have led me to believe by publishing or broadcasting my identity and location that any such encounter will be considered a lethal threat, and I will respond with lethal force. Supposedly a consensus among the RLSV was that they would leave me and my friends alone in light of fear that this would escalate into violence. But several people in the community have ignored this, using excuses to target me and others. The single most active individual is Jacob DuPree, AKA Malvado.
Jacob has been a person who admits to violence, drug use, mental instability and has a history of escalation. He also has a history of knowing I am more than prepared to use lethal force in defense, and still, wished to goad and harass me. Recently a threat of arson was made, and on Halloween weekend, three homes in Orange County caught fire, police believed it was arson. Given this appeared in a neighborhood that by the news helicopter indicated to resemble my own, I grew concerned and made a report.
Jacob continued to target me specifically while I tried to go about my business, getting back into character or reminding the RLSV community that their communication and attacks were unwanted. Then, Jacob decided to attack my friends due to the death of one of the Skiffytown League of Heroes. A few months ago Jason Gormally, AKA The White Skull, was reported deceased. Some in the community tried to begin charity events in his name, I reminded them of his attacks on them and was met by anger and expulsion from two message boards. It was later revealed that the entire incident was a bad practical joke in which his wife, some RLSV and RLSH who manage those same boards were in on the joke. It was just another sign that some of the RLSH, people who claim to want to stop crime and distance themselves from the true troublemakers in the community not only turned a blind eye to this and other actions by the RLSV, but encourage it.
When my news of my friend's passing hit the web, he decided to capitalize on it and make a blog attacking Skiffytown, its reputation and myself. This blog has since been slightly removed, its text gone but a video resembling my friend's alter ego remaining at this time. It was provocation attempting a reaction. And given my anger issues with Jacob, it seemed he was targeting me. He knew I had no love for him and warned him I would not appreciate any attack on my friends. He has been increasingly erratic, unstable, and escalating once again. It's almost as if he wanted me to attack him, he's been goading me for months while everyone else has left me alone.
I'll be honest, if I were in the same temperament and mind-set as I was a few months ago, without the aid of friends and counseling, I would have been sorely tempted. But I've been trying to get better, letting go of anger and getting on with my life. But despite it all, Jacob was targeting me, trying to push my buttons, knowing I've had issues with depression, suicide and goading me into becoming a vigilante himself. It is my opinion that he has exhibited signs of continued mental instability, anger and destructive tendencies. In the past when he wished to leave the community and get help, he tends to crash hard. For all I knew or suspected, he was wishing to go out online in a blaze of glory, or lethal cocktail. Either way, perhaps it takes someone whose been that low to know one. I hope he gets the help he deserves.
I have tried to get legal action to look more closely into this case before. Many of the RLSV claim that it's pointless, the police have better things to do. Once again, it appeared to be a sign of attacking, harassing, targeting people with a history of escalation and seeing how far they can get away with it. I'll be happy to answer questions of any authority, showing any screen captures or information I can provide such as police reports. If you wish to patrol my area, thank you, I welcome it. Please consider a night patrol due to the usual time of my drive-by assailants is between Midnight and 4 AM.
Everything I have done, including threats of lethal force in self defense, have been in response to the actions of several members of the RLSV. I perceive these to be very real threats, being just a matter of time before things escalate to violence, injury and possibly death. These people came close to causing it with me, and Jacob and his friends whom I'll be happy to name if asked, know it. If I have my druthers, I want no further contact with any member of the RLSV. However, when I started this, I did so to monitor both the RLSH and RLSV to determine actual threats to people. Although I have not been as active in the past nor do I see becoming more active due to other real world issues that require my attention, I do not wish to cease monitoring both sides to keep a potential fiasco and attack from happening.
No false police report was filed, it is my opinion and belief that all the actions building up over the past two years, and recently inflamed over the last few months that Jacob was, and is, becoming more and more a real and tangible threat to himself and others. Given the history, I hope people see that I'm correct. Also, please be mindful of any further harassment like police calls, etc. focused on my area. I believe that if not cause by, called in or issued by Jacob DuPree, he has many contacts in the RLSV that may act in his behalf, continuing the harassment, and making you the tools of those attacks. I've stated it time and time again. Things in the community continue to build and escalate, when things become to inflamed, a period of a few weeks to months occurs when nothing happens, just to start up all over again. As a person who has had issues of depression, suicidal thoughts and moments of lessened control due to drug interactions that I have ceased, it is my wish to cease the aggravation and stop the potential threats. Please continue to monitor this feud and RLSH/RLSV communities and give it the just attention that any growing issue of cyber crime and gang violence deserves.

For all I knew or suspected, he was wishing to go out online in a blaze of glory, or lethal cocktail. Either way, perhaps it takes someone whose been that low to know one. I hope he gets the help he deserves.
I have tried to get legal action to look more closely into this case before. Many of the RLSV claim that it's pointless, the police have better things to do. Once again, it appeared to be a sign of attacking, harassing, targeting people with a history of escalation and seeing how far they can get away with it. I'll be happy to answer questions of any authority, showing any screen captures or information I can provide such as police reports. If you wish to patrol my area, thank you, I welcome it. Please consider a night patrol due to the usual time of my drive-by assailants is between Midnight and 4 AM.
Everything I have done, including threats of lethal force in self defense, have been in response to the actions of several members of the RLSV. I perceive these to be very real threats, being just a matter of time before things escalate to violence, injury and possibly death. These people came close to causing it with me, and Jacob and his friends whom I'll be happy to name if asked, know it. If I have my druthers, I want no further contact with any member of the RLSV. However, when I started this, I did so to monitor both the RLSH and RLSV to determine actual threats to people. Although I have not been as active in the past nor do I see becoming more active due to other real world issues that require my attention, I do not wish to cease monitoring both sides to keep a potential fiasco and attack from happening.
No false police report was filed, it is my opinion and belief that all the actions building up over the past two years, and recently inflamed over the last few months that Jacob was, and is, becoming more and more a real and tangible threat to himself and others. Given the history, I hope people see that I'm correct. Also, please be mindful of any further harassment like police calls, etc. focused on my area. I believe that if not cause by, called in or issued by Jacob DuPree, he has many contacts in the RLSV that may act in his behalf, continuing the harassment, and making you the tools of those attacks. I've stated it time and time again. Things in the community continue to build and escalate, when things become to inflamed, a period of a few weeks to months occurs when nothing happens, just to start up all over again. As a person who has had issues of depression, suicidal thoughts and moments of lessened control due to drug interactions that I have ceased, it is my wish to cease the aggravation and stop the potential threats. Please continue to monitor this feud and RLSH/RLSV communities and give it the just attention that any growing issue of cyber crime and gang violence deserves.

I heard the news this morning. Lord Phlegmis, a friend in Skiffytown that was a 'villain' in name and fictional stories only, passed away. No, this is not another White Skull debacle. He will be missed. In his honor, I've done a good deed today to commemorate his memory. Rest In Peace my friend.

When the social structure fails
I've often said that in regards of December of 2012, I do not believe it will be the end of the world. However, it's those that DO believe it's the end, and thus the rules of man no longer apply, that you should watch out for. We've seen it in riots, natural disasters, one of the more despicable in recent years was during the aftermath of Katrina, when people in boats would go to those signalling for help, only to find out it was a ruse, then people attack the would-be rescuers, robbing, even killing them.
I'm sure those of you here gifted with precognition or a gut instinct can tell the same thing I can. The Occupy movements, riots in the UK and Europe, all are symptoms a way to voice concerns when it is difficult to put a finger on an exact cause for distress. I feel that within the next two years, not just 2012, something big is coming. Natural disaster, economic collapse, a man-made disaster, it's difficult to put a finger on, or in my case, a claw. But something big is coming. Bigger than the riots after the Rodney King's attackers were found not guilty, larger than Katrina, something that may well affect many of us.
So what do we do when it seems an emergency of such a scale were to erupt? How do we deal with it? What I'm asking is, do you have a plan? Is there anything currently in place in your area or amongst your people in or out of the RLSH community that has something prepared to do so as not to lose one's mind in such a crisis?
Recently during a special on zombies, I witnessed many areas have their own Zombie Defense groups and parties. As scoffable as it may be, the idea is the same: have a plan, have supplies, necessities and if need be, an escape route. Many city councils actually applaud this effort. Not to promote zombies, but to be prepared when shit hits the proverbial fan.
So what do we have in place? And if the answer is nothing, what are we to do about it?

Another good argument for vigilantism
AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Police in Ohio have accused a man of beating his 5-year-old daughter because she was having trouble with her alphabet homework.
Akron police say the kindergartner was struggling to recognize the letter D on Tuesday when 39-year-old Christopher D. Curry became angry. According to police, he picked the girl up by the neck and struck her in the head repeatedly.
The Akron Beacon Journal reports the child was treated at a hospital for bruises and cuts, including a left eye nearly swollen shut.
Curry has been charged with felonious assault, child endangering and domestic violence. He was being held in the Summit County jail with bond set at $100,000.
Jail officials say they don't know if he has an attorney, and none is listed in court records.

Irreversible, unforgivable
It's enough to make someone consider picking a subspecies of humans and letting them know how it feels.
GENEVA (AP) — The Western Black Rhino of Africa has been declared officially extinct, and two other subspecies of rhinoceros are close to meeting the same fate, a leading conservation group said Thursday.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature said a recent reassessment of the Western Black Rhino had led it to declare the species extinct, adding that the Northern White Rhino of central Africa is now "possibly extinct" in the wild and the Javan Rhino is "probably extinct" in Vietnam, after poachers killed the last animal there in 2010.
A small but declining population of the Javan Rhino survives on the Indonesian island of Java, it added.
"A lack of political support and willpower for conservation efforts in many rhino habitats, international organized crime groups targeting rhinos and increasing illegal demand for rhino horns and commercial poaching are the main threats faced by rhinos," the group said in a statement accompanying the latest update of its so-called Red List of endangered species.
About a quarter of all mammals are at risk of extinction, IUCN said, adding that some species have been brought back from the brink with successful conservation programs.
The Southern White Rhino numbered just 100 animals at the end of the 19th century, but has since flourished and now has a population of over 20,000.
The Przewalski's Horse, a type of wild horse from Central Asia, has come back from extinction after a successful breeding program in captivity.
The Red List now contains almost 62,000 species of plants and animals, whose status is constantly monitored by conservationists.

Fascinating reading
While doing some research into an ongoing project, I came across some interesting information on the Chinese Triads. Fascinating, really. It shows how the best of original intentions can become twisted, dark, not just criminal but downright evil.
According to the judicial interpretation of the Supreme People's Court, “organizations with characteristics of a criminal syndicate” have the following characteristics: “ (1) a highly structured organization with a leadership, basically stable membership, and relatively strict discipline; (2) pursues economic benefit through illegal activities and possesses a certain economic strength; (3) seeks to shield itself through bribes and threats; (4) its criminal activities bring serious harm to economic and social order. “ [Source: the lawyer Zhou Litai, journalist Wu Wei, Beijing News, Danwei.org, October 18, 2009]
Precursors
The roots of the Triads are found in centuries-old secret societies that date back to 1000 B.C., when peasants were often preyed on by evil leaders and protected themselves by forming "self help" groups. According to legend the first Triads were founded by Chinese monks committed to fighting injustices. Over time these groups, it is said, became so politically powerful they were able to prop up or bring down emperors at their whim.
The earliest triads started as resistance/rebel forces who opposed Manchu rule in China during the Qing Dynasty, as the Manchu ethnic group were regarded as foreign invaders in the predominant Han Chinese society of China then. In the 1760s, the Heaven and Earth Society (天地會) was founded, with its objective to overthrow the Qing Dynasty and restore Han Chinese rule in China. As the society's influence spread throughout China, it branched into several smaller groups with different names, one of which was the Three Harmonies Society (三合會). These societies adopted the triangle as their emblem, usually accompanied by decorative images of swords or portraits of Guan Yu. The term "triad" was first coined by British authorities in colonial Hong Kong, as a reference to the triads' use of triangular imagery.[1] While never proven, it is "highly probable" that triad organizations either took after or were originally part of the revolutionary movement called the White Lotus Society. The bosses of the Triads are called "dragonheads."
Migration to Hong Kong
When the Chinese Communist Party came to power in 1949 in mainland China, law enforcement became stricter and tough governmental crackdown on criminal organizations forced the triads to migrate to Hong Kong, then a British colony.[citation needed] It was estimated that in the 1950s, there were about 300,000 triad members in Hong Kong. By 1951, there were nine main triads operating in Hong Kong and they had divided the land according to their ethnic groups and geographical locations, with each triad in charge of a region. The nine triads were Wo Hop To, Wo Shing Wo, Rung, Tung, Chuen, Shing, Sun Yee On, 14K and Luen. Each of them had its own headquarters, its sub-societies and public covers. After the 1956 riots, the Hong Kong government introduced stricter law enforcement and triads became less active.
Recent developments
Triads have been engaging in counterfeiting since the 1880s. Between the 1960s and 1970s, triads were involved in counterfeiting Chinese currency, often of the Hong Kong 50-cent piece. In the same decade, the gangs were also involved in copying books, usually expensive ones, and selling them in the black market. With the advent of new technology and the improvement of the average person's standard of living, triads have progressed to producing counterfeit goods such as watches, film VCDs / DVDs and designer apparel such as clothing and handbags.
Triads currently engage in a variety of crimes from extortion and money laundering to trafficking and prostitution. They also are involved in smuggling and counterfeiting goods such as music, video, and software as well as more tangible goods such as clothes, watches, and money.
Triads use numeric codes to distinguish between ranks and positions within the gang; the numbers are inspired by Chinese numerology based on the I Ching. "489" refers to the "mountain" or "dragon" master, while 438 is used for the "deputy mountain master". "426" refers to a "military commander", also known as a "Red Pole", overseeing defensive and offensive operations, while "49" denotes a "soldier" or rank-and-file member. The "white paper fan" (415) provides financial and business advice, and the "straw sandal" (432) functions as a liaison between different units. "25" refers to an undercover law enforcement agent or spy from another triad, and has become popularly used in Hong Kong as a slang for "traitor".
Initiation
Similar to the Italian mafia or the Japanese yakuza, Triad members are subject to initiation ceremonies. A typical ceremony takes place at an altar dedicated to Guan Yu, with incense and an animal sacrifice, usually a chicken, pig or goat. After drinking a mixture of wine and blood of the animal or the candidate, the member will pass beneath an arch of swords while reciting the triad's oaths. The paper on which the oaths are written will be burnt on the altar to confirm the member's obligation to perform his duties to the gods. Three fingers on the left hand will be raised as a binding gesture.
Hmm...there's that three again. Other interesting connections to three is the Wiccan Rede or the Christian Divine Trinity. Or even the points of a pitchfork, perhaps? My current project involves another possible reason behind the three, but I digress.
Overseas activities
Triads are also active in other regions with significant overseas Chinese populations, apart from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Triads are known to be operating in countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Argentina. They are often involved in helping immigrants enter countries illegally.
Criminal gangs are found throughout China but are most active in Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang and Guangzhou as well as Hong Kong. The number of people involved in organized crime on the mainland has risen from around 100,000 in 1986 to around 1.5 million in 2000. New members are often recruited among the 120-million-strong "floating population" of migrant workers.
Triads are the most well-known organized crime group in China, Hong Kong and Macao. In addition to them are other large organized crime gangs. The Big Circles is a loose alliance of criminal gangs founded by former Red Guards of the Cultural Revolution. Their individual names refer to the detention centers where they were "re-educated." They are active in snakehead human trafficking and other criminal operations.
Organized crime gangs are known as “black societies.” The private intelligence firm Stratfor said that, unlike in Russia and Italy, organized crime was “extremely localized.” Many criminals work in small, loosely-knit gangs that are involved in armed robbery, racketeering, smuggling, narcotics trafficking, prostitution, gambling and even contract murder. When groups began to outgrow their local area, the government cracked down with harsh penalties.
Organized crime is growing in China, thanks to factors including economic liberalization, increasing migration, growing inequality and official corruption. People trafficking, drug smuggling, illegal gambling and extortion are all lucrative. “Gang-related crimes have become a threat to social stability and the economy,” a Public Security Bureau official told China Daily last year. “Murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, assault ... they dare do anything.” One indication of their presence and power in China is the increasing number of bound and gagged bodies that are pulled from the Yellow River and other Chinese waterways.
One of Henan Province 's worst gangs roamed the countryside unchecked for 13 months, robbing farmhouses and killing 76 people. Seven members of the gang, including its leader Peng Miaoji, who personally cut the throat of 40 victims, were captured and executed in December 1999.
Some gangs have close relations with the police and are even run by the police. In March 2007, 10 members of a police-run gang in Inner Mongolia were sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for robbery, rape, gambling and bribery. The gang had been active for more than 10 years.
The Triads are believed to control an empire worth many billions of dollars. The largest and most powerful Triad, Sun Yee On, is believed to have 40,000 members. The unnamed "Dragon Head" of Kong Sun Yee On, was named on Asiaweek’s list of the 50 most powerful people in Asia.
Sun Yee On is believed to be particularly well connected with the Hong Kong tycoons and Communist party elite. One high-level Communist official even referred to them as "patriotic." The second and third largest Triads respectively are Who Sing Who and 14K (14 stands for the road number of a former headquarters and K stands for Kowloon).

"489" refers to the "mountain" or "dragon" master, while 438 is used for the "deputy mountain master". "426" refers to a "military commander", also known as a "Red Pole", overseeing defensive and offensive operations, while "49" denotes a "soldier" or rank-and-file member. The "white paper fan" (415) provides financial and business advice, and the "straw sandal" (432) functions as a liaison between different units. "25" refers to an undercover law enforcement agent or spy from another triad, and has become popularly used in Hong Kong as a slang for "traitor".
Initiation
Similar to the Italian mafia or the Japanese yakuza, Triad members are subject to initiation ceremonies. A typical ceremony takes place at an altar dedicated to Guan Yu, with incense and an animal sacrifice, usually a chicken, pig or goat. After drinking a mixture of wine and blood of the animal or the candidate, the member will pass beneath an arch of swords while reciting the triad's oaths. The paper on which the oaths are written will be burnt on the altar to confirm the member's obligation to perform his duties to the gods. Three fingers on the left hand will be raised as a binding gesture.
Hmm...there's that three again. Other interesting connections to three is the Wiccan Rede or the Christian Divine Trinity. Or even the points of a pitchfork, perhaps? My current project involves another possible reason behind the three, but I digress.
Overseas activities
Triads are also active in other regions with significant overseas Chinese populations, apart from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Triads are known to be operating in countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Argentina. They are often involved in helping immigrants enter countries illegally.
Criminal gangs are found throughout China but are most active in Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang and Guangzhou as well as Hong Kong. The number of people involved in organized crime on the mainland has risen from around 100,000 in 1986 to around 1.5 million in 2000. New members are often recruited among the 120-million-strong "floating population" of migrant workers.
Triads are the most well-known organized crime group in China, Hong Kong and Macao. In addition to them are other large organized crime gangs. The Big Circles is a loose alliance of criminal gangs founded by former Red Guards of the Cultural Revolution. Their individual names refer to the detention centers where they were "re-educated." They are active in snakehead human trafficking and other criminal operations.
Organized crime gangs are known as “black societies.” The private intelligence firm Stratfor said that, unlike in Russia and Italy, organized crime was “extremely localized.” Many criminals work in small, loosely-knit gangs that are involved in armed robbery, racketeering, smuggling, narcotics trafficking, prostitution, gambling and even contract murder. When groups began to outgrow their local area, the government cracked down with harsh penalties.
Organized crime is growing in China, thanks to factors including economic liberalization, increasing migration, growing inequality and official corruption. People trafficking, drug smuggling, illegal gambling and extortion are all lucrative. “Gang-related crimes have become a threat to social stability and the economy,” a Public Security Bureau official told China Daily last year. “Murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, assault ... they dare do anything.” One indication of their presence and power in China is the increasing number of bound and gagged bodies that are pulled from the Yellow River and other Chinese waterways.
One of Henan Province 's worst gangs roamed the countryside unchecked for 13 months, robbing farmhouses and killing 76 people. Seven members of the gang, including its leader Peng Miaoji, who personally cut the throat of 40 victims, were captured and executed in December 1999.
Some gangs have close relations with the police and are even run by the police. In March 2007, 10 members of a police-run gang in Inner Mongolia were sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for robbery, rape, gambling and bribery. The gang had been active for more than 10 years.
The Triads are believed to control an empire worth many billions of dollars. The largest and most powerful Triad, Sun Yee On, is believed to have 40,000 members. The unnamed "Dragon Head" of Kong Sun Yee On, was named on Asiaweek’s list of the 50 most powerful people in Asia.
Sun Yee On is believed to be particularly well connected with the Hong Kong tycoons and Communist party elite. One high-level Communist official even referred to them as "patriotic." The second and third largest Triads respectively are Who Sing Who and 14K (14 stands for the road number of a former headquarters and K stands for Kowloon).

Taste my Big Boner!
In the myriad of video games today, there is one recent game that has its moments of unadulterated grindhouse style entertainment. Shadows of the Damned follows demon hunter Garcia Hotspur as his girlfriend and love of his life Paula is kidnapped by Flemming, the ruler of the Underworld. Garcia dives in to rescue Paula and destroy Flemming and any demon that gets in his way. Along to help him is Johnson, his only friend and former resident of the Underworld who transforms into the various weapons used in the game. The pistol is referred to as Boner, as it uses demon bones as ammunition. Of course, you gain various upgrades throughout the game, one allows you to charge up an explosive shot and fire it at opponents, which is called the Hot Boner. But one of the more interesting and phallic levels is called The Big Boner, involving the Underworld's hottest sex club district. To destroy the giant demons there, Johnson gets a dose of Phone Sex from Hell, and temporarily transforms into the massive cannon called The Big Boner!
The game has moments of entertainment and somewhat challenging puzzle levels involving life-sucking darkness. It also features a soundtrack by legendary Silent Hill soundsmith Akira Yamaoka. Judgment Day and diseased monkeys
It's quite interesting, hearing about the kinds of things so insane that they would make good dramas or made for TV movies. Take the goings on in Ohio this week.
Police Say All Escaped Exotic Animals Accounted for, Diseased Monkey Likely Eaten

Authorities in Ohio said they successfully killed 49 of the 56 animals that were released from a wild-animal preserve, ranging from brown bears to Bengal tigers, before any reported injuries in the area.
A monkey believed to be infected with Herpes-B was the last holdout, but police say it could have been eaten by one of the other escaped animals.
"We're convinced that we do not have any animals running at large," the Sheriff's office told NBC4.
Sheriffs in Zanesville, Ohio, a mostly rural area about 55 miles east of Columbus, have been working with zoo officials and wildlife expert Jack Hanna and agreed on a shoot-to-kill order, considering the immediate danger presented to the community.
"If you had 18 Bengal tigers running around this area, you folks wouldn't want to see what would happen," Hanna said at a press conference.
The deceased animals include a wolf, six black bears, two grizzly bears, nine male lions, eight lionesses, a baboon, three mountain lions and 18 tigers, authorities said. They were buried at the location they were killed.
Authorities were able to transport six animals to the Columbus Zoo, a grizzly bear, three leopards and two monkeys.
The animals escaped from the Muskingum County Animal Farm in Zanesville after the owner threw their cages open and committed suicide, authorities said.
Mike Dodd with the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office told FoxNews.com that authorities are urging the public to "keep your eyes open."
Schools were also closed, parents were warned to keep children and pets indoors and flashing signs along highways told motorists, "Caution exotic animals" and "Stay in vehicle."
Neighbor Danielle White, whose father's property abuts the Muskingum County Animal Farm, said she didn't see loose animals this time but did in 2006, when a lion escaped.
"It's always been a fear of mine knowing (the owner) had all those animals," she said. "I have kids. I've heard a male lion roar all night."
The owner of the preserve, Terry Thompson, left the cages open and the fences unsecured, releasing dozens of animals, including lions, tigers, bears and wolves, before committing suicide, said Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz. His body was discovered in the driveway.
Authorities would not say how he killed himself and no suicide note was found. Lutz wouldn't speculate on why he committed suicide. But Thompson had had repeated run-ins with the law, and Lutz said the sheriff's office had received numerous complaints since 2004 about animals at the property.
Authorities had difficulty entering the property because wild animals could be seen at its entrance, authorities said. The first responding officers used their handguns to help contain the animals.
"This is a bad situation," the sheriff said. "It's been a situation for a long time."

Seriously, who would have thought of someone going apeshit, killing himself after releasing dozens of exotic animals to run rampant. And now, Fox News believes that the last animal, a wild Herpes infected monkey, is no longer of concern? They believe the creature was killed without definitive proof, letting the damned thing run loose and be nothing but a plague carrier. Perhaps this helps to tie into something else Fox News believes in: religious zealotry. Namely, the failed prophecies that May meant that the dates were off, and now October 21 is the day when people will be judged and slain, their souls to suffer for all sins. But with an unaccounted for diseased monkey running around, is someone trying to write their own story?
Another thing I can't help but find humorous. Surely for most people, the false prophecies don't matter. But statistically speaking, people die every day. In some cases, ironic or dramatic deaths are aligned with the prophecies. Could you imagine how badly it must absolutely suck to die on a day when others have claimed it is the end of days, but knowing that everyone else will live? How embarrassing for you! Knowing that it's not the end of the world...just the end of yours.
Poor souls. Then again, why not go out with a little irony? It makes for more entertaining television that way.

Seattle 'superhero' arrested, accused of assault

SEATTLE (AP) — Instead of the bad guys, it was Seattle's most prolific self-styled superhero that ended up in handcuffs.
Police officers arrested the 23-year-old man who calls himself Phoenix Jones early Sunday after he was accused of assaulting several people with pepper spray. He was booked in county jail on four counts of assault, with arraignment set for Thursday, police said Monday.
"Our message has been the same from the beginning, if you see something that warrants calling 911, call 911," said Seattle police spokesman Det. Mark Jamieson. "Just because he's dressed up in costume, it doesn't mean he's in special consideration or above the law. You can't go around pepper spraying people because you think they are fighting."
But Jones, who wears a black mask with yellow stripes and a bulging muscle bodysuit, said he was only trying to stop a street brawl.
In capital letters, Jones wrote on his Facebook page to say he wouldn't "ever assault or hurt another person if they were not causing harm to another human being." He also released a video shot during the alleged assault.
The often shaky video shows Jones and his sidekick, known as Ghost, running toward a group of people. Jones said there was a fight in the group. Police said there's no indication there was a fight.
The footage goes on to show Jones breaking up the group. Then a woman screams at him, hitting him with her high-heel shoes. Jones appears to be holding his pepper spray canister. Moments later a BMW car appears and speeds away on the street, almost hitting an unidentified man. Jones chases after the car to get the license number. A person with Jones is heard calling 911 to report a hit-and-run.
Jones and his followers then approach the rest of the group down the block. A woman screams at them to "stay away." Another woman runs up to Jones and hits him, screaming at him, "You sprayed (expletive) pepper spray in my eye!"
Two men in the group approach Jones, who then appears to pepper spray them.
Jones has been the most public face of a group of vigilante crime stoppers to show up in Seattle in the last couple of years. His exploits have garnered much media attention, and he's had a camera crew trailing him in recent months.
Peter Tangen, a volunteer spokesman for Jones, said Monday that police didn't have any interest in the alleged hit-and-run, but rather have an agenda against the masked crime fighter.
"They're on a mission to stop Phoenix Jones from what he's doing, which is legal," Tangen said.
On the police report, the officer wrote that Jones "has had a history of injecting himself in these incidents. Recently there have been increased reports of citizens being pepper sprayed by (Jones) and his group."
The report goes on to say that although Jones "has been advised to observe and report incidents to 911, he continues to try to resolve things on his own."
On his Facebook page, Jones has nearly 4,400 friends, and says that he's married to a woman with the name PurpleReign.
Police weren't buying his Phoenix Jones handle, however. He was booked under Benjamin John Francis Fodor.

A time of horrors
Ahh, October. The time when the sun leaves its dominance in this hemisphere, leaves change color, weather cools in preparation for warm costumes and Halloween is in the air. People prepare to celebrate that which invokes fear, adrenaline and thrills from the genre of horror. It is in this that I tell all reading this as I have in the past, may your nightmares remind you how wonderful it feels to be alive.
Of course, when your life is a horror movie, perhaps the punch goes out of it. After all, there are still people who read this who, along with those claiming to be their friends, encourage others to be put into deadly situations, encouraging people to die or kill. Some who visit sporadically, others who visit several times a day. Despite the protestations and views that ignorance is their opiate bliss, Krampus is not ignored. In fact, the words are still true. No matter how you may feel, no matter what may be said, the actions behind the words still continue. People would rather ignore ugly truths rather than face them. And because of this, it's simply a matter of time. Someone is going to die. And thanks to the actions of some who read these words, no one will care.
But if you ask nicely, I'll tell you who to ask first.

This is a test.
Perception can be a funny thing. The perception of self, of others, their surroundings, of particular situations. There is belief built upon those perceptions of how one wants to handle certain situations. In the end, only the final actions and how they are perceived seem to dominate the events. Hindsight being 20/20, claims that lessons are learned. That is, until the next time.
Krampus was not, is not about being entertaining. Krampus was and is not about being popular. Sure, there are the festivals, who wouldn't like a mix of Halloween, Christmas, smokes and drinking? Oh, and the beatings and groping of loose women. But I digress. This incarnation of Krampus attempted to give warnings, education and something to consider. Not always in the politically correct format that chokes people's minds today, but ugly truths. Truths that people would have to consider before the worst case happens.
I find it funny about what has happened. Deaf ears turned to warnings, threats, circumstances built more than ever to harsh and brutal consequences. Villains have turned on their own. Heroes have become turncoats. And Krampus had people close to him threatened. Oh yes, threatened. And still no one cares, some continue to mock, and supposed hands of peace continue to reach out, only to renew attacks. This has become the status quo so many have become used to.
This incarnation of Krampus attempted to be one of caution, of warning. But that's not the true nature of Krampus, is it? It's about punishment, brutality, violence, humiliation, torture and death. Attempts to turn others around, to heed warnings. Then when the brutal truths come crashing down, the same people who were warned have the gall to be surprised! How did it get to this? How did this happen? People claim to read and watch stories, looking at the underdogs, the out of place, all warning signs of things to come. Others mock these harbingers, claiming everything from insanity to their indigent status as reasons to ignore them. In the backs of so many minds, people tell themselves 'I wouldn't do that. If I were in that place, I'd do more, I'd listen. The idiots that don't usually die in these stories, right? Who would be that stupid?'
And some people have the gall to wonder why some would rather not look at themselves in mirrors.
The next two years are going to be trying times. Not only from 2012 Apocalyptics, but other phenomena to make people consider whether or not they're right. Illness outbreaks, more unusually strong weather, economic shifts and falls, everyone seemingly going through more and more of their own issues. It seems to get worse. Sure, there are moments of calm, of apparent peace. Everyone hopes it all goes back to 'normal'. And eventually, it might. But the times between trials and calm seems to get shorter and shorter. 'Twould seem that others would simply tell others to shut the fuck up, they have issues of their own to deal with. You're nothing special, get the fuck in line and try not to throw your back out with the shovel when it's time to clean up the bullshit. And even if you do throw your back out, no one cares.
It's funny. Not in a sitcom kind of way, more like watching The Situation at Donald Trump's roast. It's people not caring about NASCAR or trains, but everyone watching the crashes. It's about people knowing how bad it is, and knowing it will get worse. But that's not what we need, we need newer, shinier things and ways to distract us, to entertain us, to keep us diverted while everything around us goes to shit. And if you don't pay for these newer, shinier distractions then well...you're not someone we can relate to, are you? Just something left behind, out of touch while people play Angry Birds on items that give you cancer. So bored of the same-old same-old, people dive in like Scrooge McDuck into his money bin to separate themselves from the outside, from the truth because their own truth is enough.
Does anyone else think that zombies are reaching their expiration date, becoming too overplayed, oversaturated in our market? What will be the next thing to solidify fears into tangible fantasy, to give us that rollercoaster rush? What will be next to slake our thirst for a distraction? Werewolves, giant monsters, killer robots, plays on the mind and our grasps of reality?
Wars with family. Wars with neighbors. Friends becoming foes. Wars with authority figures. Wars with crooked police. Wars with righteous police. City versus county, versus state, versus other countries. Maybe nuclear holocaust items will become popular again, Fallout is a great franchise and war with North Korea or China seems imminent with nukes. Then there's terrorists, the fringe groups within this country and others, people getting fed up with the way things are and starting to snap. Some alone, others in groups. The mob mentality is always palpable and powerful. Wait for the right moments, play to fears, wait...the attack is here. Now lash out, go after them! No more! Stop them! Enough is enough! Kill! Kill! KILL!!
What, why not? Isn't that why we read or watch stories? Don't we all want to be entertained, perhaps educated with scenarios in case the impossible happens and we're confronted with the same problem? Some are likely, others are nearly impossible like, oh I don't know...an earthquake in Florida. Why not? Floods, earthquakes, ARkStorms, Yellowstone erupting during our lifetime, and that's just the ground we walk on and air we breathe. Poisons, bacteria, viruses, illnesses, toxins, animals, people becoming animals, becoming predators prepared to violate their prey in new and exciting ways. Perhaps this is the final warning. Perhaps more could be given if, and only if, people were willing to listen. Krampus knows a bit of what lies ahead, and it will be hellish. But to spare breath on the ignorant who wouldn't listen and for the Schadenfreude of watching everyone's expression for the surprise, I'll refrain from the specifics. Many of you don't care to know it anyway. All that could be said is that there are some things that have already been put into motion. By the time you read this, it won't be able to be stopped. All you can do is try to brace for impact, try to ride out the eventuality. It's not about stopping it, but dealing with it. Some of my readers pride themselves on preparedness. The unknown is the ultimate danger to prepare for, and nearly impossible. But when it happens, it's devastating to those at ground zero. But let's admit it, it's entertaining as hell to watch when you're not in the eye of the storm.
People think that ignoring problems makes them go away, reverting and resorting to the defense of children by hiding, waiting for the monster to go away. Perhaps what is needed is a mix of the wishful thinking of the optimist and pragmatist. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Look to find the greatest possibility, but steel yourself for what, and who may be coming.
It's not just the next year, readers. It's for the next two before it gets better for everyone. Not just a lucky few, but for everyone. Everyone that's left. Treat each day as if it were your last, prepared for something. How would you react? How would you account for yourself? What is your breaking point? Can you pick yourself up again once knocked down?
Live like it's a test. It's one of the only things you can ultimately control.
Krampus was not, is not about being entertaining. Krampus was and is not about being popular. Sure, there are the festivals, who wouldn't like a mix of Halloween, Christmas, smokes and drinking? Oh, and the beatings and groping of loose women. But I digress. This incarnation of Krampus attempted to give warnings, education and something to consider. Not always in the politically correct format that chokes people's minds today, but ugly truths. Truths that people would have to consider before the worst case happens.
I find it funny about what has happened. Deaf ears turned to warnings, threats, circumstances built more than ever to harsh and brutal consequences. Villains have turned on their own. Heroes have become turncoats. And Krampus had people close to him threatened. Oh yes, threatened. And still no one cares, some continue to mock, and supposed hands of peace continue to reach out, only to renew attacks. This has become the status quo so many have become used to.
This incarnation of Krampus attempted to be one of caution, of warning. But that's not the true nature of Krampus, is it? It's about punishment, brutality, violence, humiliation, torture and death. Attempts to turn others around, to heed warnings. Then when the brutal truths come crashing down, the same people who were warned have the gall to be surprised! How did it get to this? How did this happen? People claim to read and watch stories, looking at the underdogs, the out of place, all warning signs of things to come. Others mock these harbingers, claiming everything from insanity to their indigent status as reasons to ignore them. In the backs of so many minds, people tell themselves 'I wouldn't do that. If I were in that place, I'd do more, I'd listen. The idiots that don't usually die in these stories, right? Who would be that stupid?'
And some people have the gall to wonder why some would rather not look at themselves in mirrors.
The next two years are going to be trying times. Not only from 2012 Apocalyptics, but other phenomena to make people consider whether or not they're right. Illness outbreaks, more unusually strong weather, economic shifts and falls, everyone seemingly going through more and more of their own issues. It seems to get worse. Sure, there are moments of calm, of apparent peace. Everyone hopes it all goes back to 'normal'. And eventually, it might. But the times between trials and calm seems to get shorter and shorter. 'Twould seem that others would simply tell others to shut the fuck up, they have issues of their own to deal with. You're nothing special, get the fuck in line and try not to throw your back out with the shovel when it's time to clean up the bullshit. And even if you do throw your back out, no one cares.
It's funny. Not in a sitcom kind of way, more like watching The Situation at Donald Trump's roast. It's people not caring about NASCAR or trains, but everyone watching the crashes. It's about people knowing how bad it is, and knowing it will get worse. But that's not what we need, we need newer, shinier things and ways to distract us, to entertain us, to keep us diverted while everything around us goes to shit. And if you don't pay for these newer, shinier distractions then well...you're not someone we can relate to, are you? Just something left behind, out of touch while people play Angry Birds on items that give you cancer. So bored of the same-old same-old, people dive in like Scrooge McDuck into his money bin to separate themselves from the outside, from the truth because their own truth is enough.
Does anyone else think that zombies are reaching their expiration date, becoming too overplayed, oversaturated in our market? What will be the next thing to solidify fears into tangible fantasy, to give us that rollercoaster rush? What will be next to slake our thirst for a distraction? Werewolves, giant monsters, killer robots, plays on the mind and our grasps of reality?
Wars with family. Wars with neighbors. Friends becoming foes. Wars with authority figures. Wars with crooked police. Wars with righteous police. City versus county, versus state, versus other countries. Maybe nuclear holocaust items will become popular again, Fallout is a great franchise and war with North Korea or China seems imminent with nukes. Then there's terrorists, the fringe groups within this country and others, people getting fed up with the way things are and starting to snap. Some alone, others in groups. The mob mentality is always palpable and powerful. Wait for the right moments, play to fears, wait...the attack is here. Now lash out, go after them! No more! Stop them! Enough is enough! Kill! Kill! KILL!!

Elevator music in Hell
There's a song that's growing more popular among the charts today. Personally, I don't care for it per se, not my usual genre. But after hearing edited words on MTV and VH1, I delved further into it. The funniest thing is, it's quite a light hearted tune considering the subject matter.
Mark Foster explained the song's meaning to Spinner UK: "Pumped Up Kicks' is about a kid that basically is losing his mind and is plotting revenge. He's an outcast. I feel like the youth in our culture are becoming more and more isolated. It's kind of an epidemic. Instead of writing about victims and some tragedy, I wanted to get into the killer's mind, like Truman Capote did in In Cold Blood. I love to write about characters. That's my style. I really like to get inside the heads of other people and try to walk in their shoes."

Yep, this was the catalyst, your actions. Honoring a widow's request
When I heard about The White Skull's death, I questioned it and wrote to him, asking to write back. After all, he still owed me a favor. Today, I received a response.
"Mr. Ruprecht,
This is (name hidden), his wife. In going throug the e-mails, I found yours.He did pass away last week. I don't know if you are married or not, but if you are you'll appreciate how hard this is to go through. Please leave my family alone; I've asked all of the hero people he was in communication with online to do the same. We just want to take this time to grieve and be left alone.
Please leave me and my family alone. We're not involved in this group of hero people."
I wrote back, apologizing for her loss. I would like to honor her request and leave her alone. Of course, in my response e-mail, I also told her that people are threatening me and my friends/family in his name. I'm sure that must be disconcerting to her, and out of respect, Krampus would desire not to bother her ever again.
So I tell all of you this: If I proceed with my plans and legal actions, it would be a matter of fact if she were dragged into all of this again, due to a few punks like Pestilence, Drake Dreadful and other cowards trying to make a name for themselves at his expense. Therefore, I will keep my information for my police report on hold, as well as with other friends of mine. Out of respect, I won't go after all of you, which would in turn drag her through all of this shit. In return, ALL of you RLSV that have a problem with me will FUCK OFF. No contact, no veiled or implied threats, no phone calls, no drive-bys, no friending friends of mine in any social media or group. No stalking online or in person. Oh, and no talking in code, anonymous messages trying to explain your positions or rhetoric. NOTHING. EVER AGAIN. But I swear to any gods you name, if a single one of you does, if I hear someone yelling outside my home, insinuating yourselves into our lives, then I'm naming names, calling police, feds, conventions and process servers. The only exception to this is giving me the true identities of my stalkers in order to execute restraining orders, possibly even cease and desist orders too. So this morning, I received a semi-anonymous message from a Leonard Orville Dangel. Look at the initials: LOD, Legion of Doom. One of my stalkers in the past stated he wanted to rape my mother, kill her, then rape the body. When I reported him and called him on it, he backpedaled. Same thing here.

Huh. All lower case, no use of commas, and mysteriously these threats come out after other members of the LOD decide to attack me online at the same time. What a coincidence! My asking about The White Skull's death and these attacks are just coincidental, no relation. And speaking of relation, someone proving they're involving family into this.

Okay, so someone affiliated not only with the RLSV, based out of Washington along with Agent Beryllium, The Potentate and ROACH now claims to know what my home looks like. The last person who said anything like that was Malvado, who also said I'd better kill him before I have to reload. He also dropped my info, only to delete it as if it never happened. But no, this person is close, a clear and present danger who wants to come onto my property, pull out his miniscule penis and use it in my general direction.
If one of you threatened me, then all of you affiliated with those people have. If two or more of you claim to know where I live and describe my home, then it's gang activity. And since this has been ongoing, I'm compiling a list of EVERYONE in this and other states that ever attacked, harassed or encouraged attacks in my direction. Interstate makes it a federal case. It'll take time to get the info on everyone, but I'm getting it all now. Members of ROACH, affiliates like Lord Malignance and his lackeys, even RLSH who heard about this but claim to be friends of the same RLSV who targeted myself and those close to me and did NOTHING to stop it. Threats in the White Skull's name
For those of you idiots who are too quick to judge when I tell an ugly truth, please reference this post. Apparently another member of the self-styled Legion of Doom have decided to target me in The White Skull's name. Apparently these cum-scrapings can't tell the difference between trying to discover the truth from rumor and insults.

Congratulations Drake, in a time of grieving you've pretty much issued a threat against someone who's had a history of threats from RLSV. This proves that this is what The White Skull truly inspired. Not helping people, but threatening and getting away with as much shit as possible before being stopped. To any RLSH reading this, I advise you to try harder than you did in regards to Malvado and my other stalkers threatening me, get off your asses and do something legally about this before war is declared and things get ugly in the name of The White Skull.

I'm hearing rumors that The White Skull has died on the operating table removing a tumor. Some claim to have confirmation of this. Others say this is a hoax by the RLSV and people are being chastised for it. If anyone has any relevant information, tell me. I need to know how to proceed with this.

I want to watch you BURN.
So one of my stalkers recently admitted that, when my sister wasn't going to appear on a show, he was looking forward to asking her hoe she feels about my making death threats. Funny considering he made threats first and my threat was against him and all that follow in his footsteps against me. Once again, proof that no matter what, some people will never change. Some people, whom some claim to either ignore or befriend with wishes of a better life, fall back into their positions. Some people cannot resist the temptation to attack others with the intent of destruction.
It seems as though new attackers still spill out of the woodwork. Threats. Stalking, Bullying both online and in real life. For all the posturing of wanting peace, of claiming not to bother myself nor those close to me, some people continue to show their true colors. Their words have become meaningless as the venom drips from their lips, their actions continuing to betray them and those connected to them. I already have a plan in motion that will stop it, and the players may not even be aware of their roles...yet.
In the meantime, here's a long distance song dedication. Someone who claims to mean everything all in fun, the internet means nothing despite continued threats and attacks. Someone who dared raise a hand in faux friendship, someone whose truth has been exposed but claims that there's no problem, no drama, nothing out of the usual. There are many this song could be dedicated to, leave it to yourselves to figure it out.
Now, here is a summer anthem of kicking ass and a strong belief in karma. After all, what's the summertime without a barbecue? Here's Papa Roach with the song BURN.

So I want to kill this waitress...
Recently I was reminded of a bit of quirky nostalgia. A lovely song, one that starts off slightly haunting, made darker by the lyrics. Finally the chorus thunders in with a dose of classical heavy metal splashed in. It has an interesting message, even a possible moral to the story. Perhaps it's because it reminds me that my own stalkers, wastes of flesh that I've wished dead more than once are still stalking my friends and hence myself despite warnings and pretenses to the contrary. Or maybe it's just a fun song. Every time I hear the song, I picture her in the waitress outfit from her Crucify video.

Someone died. Who cares?
It's amazing what hell can be unleashed from a fresh wound. And if you can't find a reason for stopping tragedy, people will always pick someone to blame. Here's a little nugget from The Associated Press.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn had a blood-alcohol content that was more than twice the legal limit when he and a passenger died in a fiery one-car crash this week, according to a toxicology report.
Dunn's Porsche may have been traveling as fast as 140 mph in a 55 mph zone when it jumped a guardrail, flew into a wooded ravine, struck a tree and burst into flames, police said.
His blood-alcohol level was 0.196 at the time of the Monday morning crash, according to the toxicology report released Wednesday by West Goshen Township Police. The legal limit for drivers is .08. Dunn's passenger Zachary Hartwell also died.
Dunn, 34, and Hartwell, 30, had been at a West Chester bar called Barnaby's of America that evening. Hours before the crash, Dunn tweeted a photo from the bar of the pair and a third man drinking. The photo has since been taken down.
Sgt. William La Torre of the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Enforcement told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the agency investigated and determined there would be no charges against the bar because Dunn did not appear intoxicated during the time he was served two beers and six shots from bar employees over four hours.
Surveillance video shared with police supported the bar employee's observations, said Frank Herron, the general manager.
"He spoke clearly. He walked clearly. He came in hop, skip, jumping. He left hop, skip, jumping," Herron told the AP. "If these results are true, I'm shocked at it. We were very confident that he had not had that much."
Also, La Torre said, Dunn apparently wasn't eating as he drank and his final drinks of the night were given to him by fans at a back table. La Torre said most likely these final drinks put him over the edge.
"It's always a tragedy whenever there's a preventable crash that takes a life," La Torre said.
According to court documents, Dunn was charged in April 2005 with driving under the influence after crashing his car in West Whiteland Township, about two miles from Monday's crash site. The documents show he successfully completed a program designed for first-time nonviolent offenders that allows charges to be dismissed after defendants finish the program.
More court documents showed that Dunn had been cited for speeding several times since 1998.
Dunn appeared on MTV shows "Jackass" and "Viva La Bam" and the three "Jackass" big-screen adaptations. He also was the star of his own MTV show, "Homewrecker," and just began hosting the show "Proving Ground" on the G4 cable network. G4 said it pulled "Proving Ground" and would decide whether to continue airing it.
Dunn also starred in the yet-to-be-released film "Living Will." The film's website describes Dunn's character as a "party bum slacker (who) returns from the dead as a mischievous and perverted ghost."
The force of Monday's crash shattered Dunn's 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 into several twisted and blackened pieces, leaving the car unrecognizable except for a door that was thrown from the crash. A 100-foot-long tire skid marked where the car left the roadway.
Both Dunn and Hartwell, a production assistant for the second "Jackass" movie, were severely burned. Police said they identified Dunn from his tattoos and hair.
The toxicology report said Dunn did not have "drugs of abuse" in his system. The term encompasses illegal drugs including heroin, cocaine and marijuana, said Chief Deputy Coroner David Garver. The coroner's office still awaiting results of tests that would indicate the presence of prescription drugs, Garver said.
Dunn was born in Ohio and moved at age 15 to Pennsylvania, where he met fellow "Jackass" cast member Bam Margera on his first day of high school, according to a biography posted on his website.
Margera visited the crash site Tuesday, telling WTXF-TV that he was devastated by Dunn's death.
"I've never lost anybody that I cared about. It's my best friend," he told WTXF, weeping. "He was the happiest person ever, the smartest guy. He had so much talent, and he had so many things going for him. This is not right, not right."
Here's the fun shit. Shortly after the crash, film critic Roger Ebert tweeted "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive." This of course made Bam Margera pissed and lashed out. Facebook took the page down, Roger apologized, thinking his comments didn't go too far. In a recent online poll, 43% of the people think Roger went too far. 57% say he was only speaking the truth.
How many times did Bam punch or inflict pain on Ryan? How many people, himself included, enjoyed the pain and suffering he inflicted for the sake of entertainment? Schadenfreude reigned supreme with the Jackass and CKY crews. The death of Ryan and his passenger was tragic.
